Background
With almost three years of experience as an airbnb host, I've reached a monthly revenue ceiling. I needed to think of different ways to generate passive income. One of my friends recently told me about how she was able to increase her usual rental income. I needed to know how, so I went to her place to learn all I could. She sat me down and gave me a tour of her digital guidebook.
Offering Something Extra
She offers this guidebook to all of her guests. Inside, it contained information on the area's greatest sights and things to do since most tourists don't plan their schedule until they arrive. She believed that the most common mistake Airbnb hosts make is thinking that once they've booked a place, they're done. There's also an opportunity to build your brand, build customer loyalty, and make more money by giving people useful information.

To make extra money, she started giving her guests a link to a local personal chef's website. If her guests hired the chef, she would get a cut of the money. Her passive income increased her monthly income by $500. And with Tribe, all she had to do was add the chef's URL to her automated messages so that she could send them to her guests. Tribe made this simple by locating local attractions ready to split their profits with her in return for referrals. Tribe also made sure that the money she earned from her referrals went to her account within 30 days.
Finally, What I have earned so far.
After getting her advice, I signed up for Tribe Affiliate. I decided to start with just one referral link and bought Private Chefs of Atlanta’s link. Two bookings went by where no guests booked a private meal, but the 3rd time the guest booked and I earned $50 commission from that booking! Two months have gone by now, and I have a 70% conversion rate of my guests booking additional activities through my referral links. I now have three links and plan to continue getting more as I learn what my guests would enjoy doing.
